Alert: Marin County Board of Supervisors Trails Workshop November 3, 2009 1:30 P.M. Manzanita Room, Avenue of the Flags, Marin Center, rear parking lot. This is yet another attempt by members of the board to give away traditional hiking and equestrian trails to the mountain bike lobby. Please attend this critical meeting and speak up! Do not allow politics to trump environmental protection, displacement and safety. MMWD/TCC Trail Day 10/03/2009 The TCC Trail Crew MMWD trail day is scheduled for October 03, 2009. Meet at the Lake Lagunitas parking lot at 9:00 a.m.. We will be building a new stretch of trail that connects the Lower North Side Trail and Cross Country Boys Trail. Afterwards MMWD will provide an appreciation BBQ. ALERT TO ALL TRAIL VOLUNTEERS: STATE PARKS HAS SEVER BUDGET PROBLEMS AND NEEDS ALL THE HELP IT CAN GET. TCC TRAIL BOSS STEVEN SCHOONOVER IS EXPLORING WITH STATE PARKS THE POSSIBILITY OF RESURRECTING THE THIRD SATURDAY TRAIL DAY WITH STATE PARKS, BUT ONLY IF THERE IS SUFFICIENT INTEREST GENERATED AND ONLY IF THE DETAILS CAN BE WORKED OUT WITH STATE PARKS.
